I have to thank you Cletus for not giving up on me and also Victoria who was ready to do what Adobe was not able to do. I was impressed with the agent I finally chatted with and the fact he know his way around the Mac and there was no question on a resolution, he just took over my machine and resolved the issue. Is it indeed the correct Mac version or is the link wrong ?Īnyway it was a very long and confusing road to get the version I was looking for.

That coupled with the fact that the download page for the Mac and Windows "Legacy" versions of Lightroom get you two seemingly different products is also confusing. I think had they called the new Lightroom, LR7 CC or even just LR7 and LR CC (two different products) forget the "Classic" it just serves to confuse, or it did for me at least. It's not surprising that people have such a negative view of Adobe although they did indeed go "The extra mile" but I think that was due to the fact I persisted in tracking down a solution.įirst off for the novice user (Me) the naming convention they have used for the new Lightroom is VERY confusing.
